Do I need extra sunscreen when my day cream/foundation base has SPF in it?please answer

It is not necessary to apply sunscreen if your day cream or foundation has SPF. Luckily, lot of moisturisers these days sensibly contain some UV filter to protect against the age accelerating effects of sunlight. However, if you suffer from pigmentation (dark patches), it is advisable to apply a sunscreen anyway if you are not sure of the SPF of your foundation or day cream.

yup most of the day creams these days SPF so you don't need,but make sure your Day cream have any of this ingredients:ecamsule, avobenzone, oxybenzone, titanium dioxide, sulisobenzone, or zinc oxide.

I've heard from a beauty expert here in our country that spf in products will add up. When you have a foundation/cream with SPF 15 then you apply an SPF 30, the SPF will add making it 45. The high the SPF rating, the more protected you are.
