Women cry when we are happy,:h8: We cry when we are sad. We do it when things go bad. Men have always tried to figure out 'why' but in what way they have learnt ways to handle it.

So to all male here:

Interesting question... Just registered here to reply it.

I am aware that sometimes a woman just wants to vent. So I would stay calm, be polite, hear out her issues and console her. If she is upset about something other than me, then I would try to find the best solution for the problem. If the situation is out of my hands or if I am the cause of her sorrows and I sense a thunderstorm coming my way, then I would rather keep silent because silence is the best medicine at times.

It would depend upon my relationship with her. If she is my wife and I was the culprit, I would try to reconcile with her. I would try to appease her and do everything in my power not to infuriate her further. If she is let down by other things, I would stay by her side and try my best to refresh her mood.

If I find my woman sobbing for a reason I am not aware of, I would say nothing and give her a big hug. I would have her sit down on a comfortable couch, offer her a box of tissues and ask her what’s bothering her. To make her day I would buy her a bouquet of red roses.

Sometimes it is very hard to understand girls cry, why they are depressed. But I can deal with it, sometimes she is not ready to explain why she cries, so I just do not give it any attention and it stops \:

My girlfriend doesn't cry an awful lot (thank god). But when the time comes and she is a bit tearful i just try to comfort her in anyway possible and try to make her laugh a bit. Always works for me :p
