UV therapy?

Hi, i have Eczema on my neck, elbows and scalp. It is relatively under control, i moisturize regularly (steroid free creams) and try to keep a clean diet.

I have been reading about UV light therapy, anybody tried it?

I am in the UK and don't even know how i would go about trying it. Do i have to get refered by my doctor?

i know they only use uv therapy for out of control skin condtions here in the us. it unually works but i am not sure if it is a one time thing or not. i have a customer at the pharmacy who has a child with severe eczema and they are talking of trying it on him but he has so many other problems it might not be possible. when i hear from his mom i will let you know.

Please speak to your doctor before you go ahead and try UV light therapy. It may or may not help you eczema but it also could create other problems that you may not be aware of.
