The skin on our face is the most sensitive in all our body and we should take extra precaution when applying chemicals to it. You can't know for certain if you'd be allergic to a certain brand so it's best to stick with the hypoallergenic ones. You are not limited to less effective products anyway and as the old saying goes, prevention is better than cure. When your face gets irritated, it will take weeks or even months for treatment and it will cost you more money.

I truly agree with you lilabytes. My skin seems to break out whenever I try a product that isn't hypoallergenic so I don't use those types of products anymore.

Also please remember, most allergic reactions happen not the first time we use something but after our skin or system has been sensitized to the product and then reacts to it. I definitely agree with leaning toward hypoallergenic products, especially for those who already have sensitive skin

You know Starchild, I never gave that much thought but it really does make a lot of sense. Once you become use to something it is easier for that something to show its true "nature" whether it be an allergy or anything else that you may be dealing with.
