glutathione pills

hi anyone tried glutathione pills before?i heard its quite effective on skin whitening.Is there any side-effects associated?anyone can give me some suggestions on which brand of glutathione pills are good coz there are quite few brands in the market.Thanks

i read that glutathione is a molecule in every cell of the body. it does act as an antioxidant and it was noted in what i read that people with aids, cancer and other severe diseases are depleated of this miraculouse molecule. this keeps us healthy. i didn't read anywhere that it helps whiten skin but i only did research on 2 web sites written by doctors. there has been no studies on taking oral glutathione pills but these doctors think it wouldn't help much. the way to go is iv therapy and that isn't for just anybody. the glutathione would be destroyed in the digestive track if taken orally. i don't think it will hurt you but i don't think it will help either. best of luck. watermellon and asparagus make glutathione in your system.

I think that taking any pill for a skin problem is a very bad idea. They always have harsh side effects and they might not even work out in the end. After reading the first response, I would have to say that taking a pill that is for a cancer patient isn't a smart solution. What are you trying to achieve with these pills?

thanks for the info.coz ive read from the websites and ebay sellers they claimed that glutathione pills are effective in skin whitening and are commonly used by dermatologists..so i am really curious whether this tiny little pills can do so much to your skin as i know that it is actually meant for cancer patients..so ive been kinda confused over its side effects and indications .thanks btw :cool:
