Hi Everyone,

I got a spot just on the top of my nose about 6 months ago and there is still a red mark which i can see if I look closely or in the light when I look in the mirror and it is really annoying me. I know I may sound a bit silly as there are people with far worse skin problems but I am very conscious whenever I get any kind of spot/marks on my face.

The main spot has gone but the faint red mark from the spot still remains, It seems to be just under the skin.

I tried putting some aloe vera on it, which a few people recommended but to no avail.

I was looking at a number of products including the following:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Clear-Essence-Lemon-Vitamin-Vanishing/dp/B000RDHYE0/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1252088591&sr=8-1

and

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Clear-Essence-smoothing-creme-sunscreen/dp/B001OLP0X6/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1252088591&sr=8-3

And there are also a number of products on the first and second page on the following link:

http://www.boots.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/CatalogSearchResultView?storeId=10052&catalogId=11051&langId=-1&pageSize=12&beginIndex=0&sType=SimpleSearch&resultCatEntryType=2&searchTerm=spot+redness&x=0&y=0

Can somebody tell me if any of the above products would work and if so which, or/and if any of you could tell me a product which could help me.

I would really appreciate any help. Thank you in advance :)

I would recommend seeing your dermatologist about it. I have the same problem on the side of my nose and I can't seem to get it to go away. It has been there for years! I can't stand it! Could you explain or post a picture of the spot so I could help you further in your endeavor? Is it just a small red dot or does it have a different kind of consistency? Again, if it has been over 6 months you might have a scar from the initial spot. I'd recommend sunscreen or even a makeup with at least spf 15 in it so the damage doesn't worsen.

if it has been there for 6 months, I'd say go see a dermatologist.
