Can’t do without your hair dryer? If you are using the gizmo daily, following precautions will be helpful.

-Keep the dryer low i.e. on the comfort cycle. Using it on heavy hot cycle daily may cause oily scalps to flake out.

-Just dry the hair, not the scalp. It is good if you have oily hair.

-Never point the nozzle at one spot too long. Keep it continually moving over your head, and maintain a distance of 6 inches from hair.

Air the hair with care.

You know what, I used to use the hair dryer all the time when I har really long hair. Unfortunately, it sort of exploded one time while I was using it. I forgot to wipe down the sink so I think there was a short circuit. Since then, I've been scared enough to just air dry my hair. :) So no problems for me. Thanks for sharing these great tips though. :)
